The traditional room was beautifully designed with sliding doors and a serene koi pond view, perfectly embodying the essence of old Japan.
Breakfast options felt limited after a few days, making it a bit repetitive.

Was a holiday base for trip. We had a nice 4-star experience here. The location was stunning very near to the bus stop and the staff here was fantastic friendly. Besides, it was near to tourist locations, and Kyoto station. We got a room with a bidet.

The staff were sweeter than peach cobbler, always ready to lend a hand. Our room had a lovely view of the serene gardens that gave the feeling of home. I reckon the bento breakfast was a unique twist, though my partner's not too keen on the cold rice. The vibes were just right, y'all!

great experience but breakfast needs variety
My stay provided a unique blend of traditional Japanese charm with modern comforts. The fine views of Toji Temple from my balcony enhanced the atmosphere of the room! The reception staff were warm, guiding me to hidden local gems for dining. I also enjoyed the good garden view that added a touch of serenity to the experience.

Breakfast bento sets delivered to the room every morning added a good start to the day. I enjoyed the modern Japanese style of my room, complete with a washer/dryer, which proved handy . The spaciousness of the room made it comfortable to relax after long days of sightseeing. The staff were genuinely helpful, always ready to assist with any queries. The limited free parking was a bit inconvenient. It operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so access can be tricky if you arrive late. The location near Toji Temple and only a short walk to Kyoto Station was a nice advantage.
